Yeah that usually helps less experienced guys. Large leagues require you to know who the 36th best relief pitcher is and stuff like that.

I like baseball, but I haven't followed it THAT closely for a long time.

I am looking at setting up a draft maybe Wednesday night at 9pm unless that is completely horrible for everyone else.

should be fine with me. If worse comes to worse and I can't make it, do I just keep it on autodraft? I assume I can just find a fantasy rankings list online that will be good enough to keep me somewhat competitive?

Yes, you can autodraft and you can set your custom predraft rankings if you want to avoid someone or target a specific sleeper sooner.
