Nate Heise's sister is on the women's hockey team. So I'll probably tune in for some of that.
Do people prefer mixed doubles curling or traditional curling? I think traditional curling can have more drama at the finish of each end when there are more stones in the house. But I do enjoy the faster pace of the mixed doubles, too.

I'm just always amazed at the mental toughness required to be an elite cross country skiier.
I just went with what NBC is using but if it is going to bother you that much I will change it.

I watch the Winter Olympics for the alpine skiing events, with the downhill being my favorite. Those people are ******* crazy doing what they do. Super-G is cool also, then giant slalom and finally slalom.
I like the biathlon and speed skating - short track is my preferred - as well.
Sledding events I’ll watch for a bit, but they get monotonous for me after awhile. You just can’t see much, so I find it hard to appreciate those sports, especially bobsled. So much is happening inside the sled, but all the viewer can see are the tops of the athlete’s heads.
The X-Games events are hit and miss. Some are fun, but others are like any other judged sport. I’m a much bigger fan of timers over judges.
