Kid had a great college career, but does not have the size and arm to play at the next level. Some team will take a chance on him and see if he can play another position and you could use as a 3rd team QB if necessary.

On Saturday, two former BYU players heard their names called in the NFL Draft. Jack Kelly was selected by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the draft. Then, tight end Carsen Ryan was picked by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round.
Kelly and Ryan were the first BYU players to be drafted since Kingsley Sauamataia was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. It was also the first time BYU has had multiple players in the same draft since the 2023 NFL Draft.
Undersized QB that is exciting to watch and carried a perennial underdog to success they rarely, if ever see including multiple upsets over powerhouse SEC programs that everyone roots against. Every casual fan should have been cheering for this guy like they did Mendoza, but he's such a massive douchebag, he's basically universally despised.
