Sounds like the Chiefs and others are losing good picks because of colleges paying players, especially qb’s, to come back.

What exactly do you mean here? Yes, there are definitely good players that are choosing to stay in college longer because they can get paid good money and/or improve their draft stock.

That doesn't affect specific teams differently. Dante Moore decided not to declare for the draft, which means all other guys who will get drafted move up team's boards by one spot. That affects everyone however, not just the Chiefs or some other team. They're still going to have the #9 pick. It may mean a guy they want get's taken in the top 8 instead of being available for them at #9, but that's just how the draft works for everyone.

I’m saying the Chiefs don’t need a qb and everyone that might get drafted before 10 hurts the Chiefs. Almost half the teams 1-8 could use a qb. You never know how desperate they are.

2, maybe 3 of the top 10 need a QB. And if any of those 3 were smart, they weren't taking Moore anyway. He needs more experience, and not the kind that involves getting crushed on a bad team will bring.

The one glaring need this offense has is RB, if the best one in the draft, and the highest rated one to come out in the past few years is still on the board you have to take him. Many have him as a top 5 talent in this draft, just too good of a player at a position of need for KC to not take if he is there.

Why not pay Breece $10m and take BPA at DE/OT/DT, all of which would cost $20m in free agency?

There is ONE difference maker at running back in this draft, that is Love, if KC does not take him to take the pressure off of Mahones than they are nor serious about doing it. They have not had an above average rb since Priest Holmes and that was a decade ago. I get you do not want to over draft for a RB, but if you can get one as good as Love at 9, you have to take him.

Meh…. I don’t know, seems like they’ve done OK over the last 5+ years.

Has Orange going #54 to the Eagles in the 2nd Round.

All the mock drafts I have seen have him in round 2 except for one had him in round 3. I think he's a 3rd rounder, but that's still great. I remember Enyi being a 4th round pick, but I'm trying to think if we have ever had a DT go in round 3 or higher and drawing a blank.
