Baylor trailing Nebraska by 6 heading into the 4th Quarter.

Nothing impressive about Baylor, Nebraska finished 12th in the conference @ 7-11. And I missed it down the stretch because I was in the middle of an appointment, but Nebraska had them beat and then apparently things went completely awry.

1 close game thus far with everything else double digit victories with some major bloodbaths.

Higher seeds 8-0 in the early session, and nothing of note other than Baylor's late push to beat Nebraska.

Really chalky and boring so far on the women’s side

Gophers trail Green Bay by 4 heading to the 4th Qtr.

Green Bay has a solid team, but it just takes so much good fortune and a poor showing by these big conference teams in women’s basketball for them to be competitive. The men generally can be more competitive, although not so much this year. Lots of blowouts in the men’s tournament too.

I honestly wasn’t sure how good the Big 10 women were or weren’t but they’ve looked salty so far….

ESPN trying to highlight the best teams in the first round just makes for bad TV.

Two ABC windows today.

South Carolina up 64-19 on Southern (20-0 in the 3rd quarter so far!)
Followed by UConn vs UTSA

Looks like we may finally have a close game. Georgia leads Virginia 43-42 at the Half.

It’s so hard to get excited for the women’s tournament in recent years when 80% of the games are complete blowouts. There hasn’t been a lower seeded team to win a single game in the first round so far this year.

Yeah, historically there are no double digit seed wins… with that said I think I saw Rhode Island has only made three of their last 22 shots and had six turnovers down the stretch and was only losing the Alabama by like eight points… I doubt that will continue however

We might actually get one!

(10) Virginia leading (7) Georgia, 79-73, with <2:00 left in OT.

The Carver HVAC situation has taken on a life of its own. ESPN periodically cutting to a thermometer at floor level.

Last shot was 83 degrees.
