Interesting the Tigers clenched a playoff spot for the first time in 10 years in the same game they made the White Sox the worst team in the history of baseball.

**** FOX's broadcasting maps. The Brewers game and twins game are both on fox and because northwestern Wisconsin is closer to Minneapolis than Milwaukee, those people up there get screwed out of watching the Brewers.

This final full day still has stuff to be decided but it's emotional day for me.

Charlie Blackmon who has played his entire career with the Rockies is retiring.

Rockies have had a franchise full of great players but Charlie came to become my favorite.

Not only for all out effort on the diamond but personal moment I got when they were in Minnesota. He was coming off the field with 3rd out of the inning ball.

I had bought tickets behind visiting dugout and called out to him and he threw me the ball. One of the coolest moments of my life.

Congrats on an amazing career Charlie!

Diamondbacks up 9-2

Mets up 5-0

Braves down 4-2

If this holds up then it means this:

"Both games of the doubleheader would have to be played Monday. The Game 1 winner is in. The Game 1 loser would have to play — and win — Game 2 to advance. If the Game 1 loser gets swept, the Diamondbacks are in."

My brain hurts. :)

1. NY Yankees will play winner of:
4. Baltimore vs. 5. Kansas City

2. Cleveland will play winner of:
3. Houston vs. 6. Detroit

NL Wildcard situation now set tomorrow for Braves, Mets, & Diamondbacks:

So, as was said on Twitter earlier … if the Braves and the Mets simply trade forfeits tomorrow, they’re both in and the D-backs are out.
Yep. They'll play but guessing the winner of Game 1 won't pitch anybody of substance in Game 2 and rest a lot of regular starters as well.

That said Mets & Braves don't like each other so I'm sure they would like to knock each other out of it but doubt they will go for it real hard in that Game 2.
