It was? They were still down by 8 after that XP. Meaning they needed 2 conversions to win, and an XP is setting a tie opportunity.Entirely different scenario for the second TD

Kirk still got the passing yards. Only change would be Jefferson getting a TD and yards from Thielen, KJ, and Cook.Disguised in this loss is the outstanding game played by Cousins. With no protection and no run game to speak of, he threw for 410 and 2 with no turnovers. Giving back the missed OB on Jefferson, it would've been about 450/3/0. You don't lose too many games with those stats.
Whoops, good point. Nvm.Kirk still got the passing yards. Only change would be Jefferson getting a TD and yards from Thielen, KJ, and Cook.
The secondary injuries have been really rough. They needed guys like Boone, Cine and Evans to develop this year, and between the 3, they've been injured more than they've been available. It's frustrating, but nothing that can be done about it now. They're still playing with house money as far as I'm concerned. The Vikes are playing to many LBs and DBs who should never be on the field. When you're forced to play guys like Shelley it's not going to easy for the Vikes to stop anybody.
Vikings went for 2 after their TD with 2:17 left in the 3rd, and their next two drives got a FG and TD lol
Purdy looking good today, but I doubt the 49ers are throwing in the towel on Lance just yet.Okay, so this is WAY premature, but I wanna get it on first.
Any chance the Vikes pick up local kid Trey Lance on the cheap this off-season…the way they did Hockenson?
Quarterbacks who haven’t blossomed depreciate fast, right?
It's going to be real conflicting watching Brock throw for 350 yards and 3 TDs against us in the divisional roundI just want to avoid the eagles and the 49ers as long as possible in the playoffs.
Most likely to get the 49ers in the second round, assuming both win in the first roundI just want to avoid the eagles and the 49ers as long as possible in the playoffs.
Still has 1-2 years left on that rookie contract.Purdy looking good today, but I doubt the 49ers are throwing in the towel on Lance just yet.

Exactly. He costs them very little to keep on the roster, and they gave up a ton to get him. I highly doubt Minnesota is going to give up what it would take to get the 49ers to trade him.Still has 1-2 years left on that rookie contract.
Doesn't matter unless the D improves and the O line gets healthy. This team today can not win a playoff game against a team playing remotely well.I just want to avoid the eagles and the 49ers as long as possible in the playoffs.
KS, Brock and those weapons will torch the Viking defense. If Purdy ends up playing in the playoffs against the Vikings, I’m going to look at it like a win-win situation.
If the Vikings are smart, they will ditch cousins and go after Purdy.Okay, so this is WAY premature, but I wanna get it on first.

Be surprised if he’s back this season
