***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

Similar thing slowed Darrisaw at the beginning of this past year. Although I suppose it depends on the severity.

Edit: crap, forgot to put BigJCy's quote about Booth's core muscle injury in here.

Let's see, the Vikings traded Williams for Cine(a guy they may have reached for at 12 anyway), moved up 4 spots in the second to grab the top rated CB in Rd 2, grabbed an extra late 2nd round pick, moved up 10 spots in round 3, netted a 4th rounder for a 6th rounder.

That is a hell of a haul.

I'm very happy with today's trades. Trade back to get two 2nd rounders, and then take a guy I was hoping they'd take at 34.

You can find the good in almost any situation. That’s a compliment btw.
It's not difficult, in this circumstance. Yesterday's trade? Sure. I get the puzzlement. It didn't make a ton of sense to me. But trading 1 2nd round pick for 2, and still getting a guy that I would have been happy with at 34 is not a bad move. We'll see what they do with this other 2nd rounder, but so far they have 2 day one starters in the defensive backfield, which is their biggest area of need

interior lineman taken. Not unhappy with that pick

I’m not sure Cine starts over Bynum but we’ll see I guess. Also don’t like trading within the division.

Agreed. Never heard of the guy, but at least it’s a guard lol
Same here. CBS didn't think much of the pick.

Masher type on the inside. Moments of punishing power. Balance is not good. Recovery ability is noticeably lacking. As is his hand work. Not exactly a zone-blocking scheme fit. Strange selection although interior OL needed to be addressed. (Chris Trapasso)

Cine will start. He might not be Harrison Smith but he'll be really really good. Booth was a great pick. Ingram was an awful pick. The first two trades were dumb. Like you said, can't let division rivals move up and get weapons. Trading up for Booth was smart. Hope we can snag a good tight end or defensive player at 66.
