***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

I've seen enough from McCarthy to think he can be good. I've also seen enough to think there is a 0% chance he ever makes it through an entire season, much less 7-8 games.

You absolutely need to dump Kwesi. He's clueless with drafting players, Worst in the NFL.
I'm coming around after digging in a bit more to the track record. Still doubt it happens but while there have been good ones, lots of bad ones. They've helped themselves with reclamations and scheming but sometime you just have to hit the draft well.

Yeah rolling into next season with what we had this year would be a bad idea. If you want to roll out JJ week 1, fine, but he's shown susceptibility to injury so you need a serviceable room behind him.

Get Wentz healthy and thing will be fine. Biggest issue is the salary cap, you can’t bring in a big name QB unless you trim a couple big guys also.
Can't do that -- have to let him go. You can't back up an injury-prone starter with an injury-prone backup, they have to go hunt someone down who has shown to be more durable at minimum.

This also applies to JJM: he can't and won't be an NFL starter long-term if he can't actually stay on the field.

Also, sidenote: that taunting penalty on JJM yesterday was straight *********. He's still a moron for talking **** in that situation to begin with, but that was an awful flag. Guys like Rodgers, Mayfield, etc. do that stuff every single game and all you hear on it is announcers talking about their "moxie". Piss-poor flag throw.

Hard pass on Wentz. There is a reason why he has been on 6 different teams the last 6 years.

Absolutely correct. People complaining about the Vikings winning and causing a lower draft pick are missing the point. It doesn't matter where they pick if Kwesi is still making the picks.

If Darnold wins the super bowl, can we get him back?
Darnold since his hot start:1767628021331.png
JJ after coming back:1767628080078.png

Seattle has the #1 ranked defense in the league (DVOA), was pretty healthy, and have two very good RB's.

Minnesota had the #18 ranked defense (DVOA), horrible health on the offensive line, and still JJ had better stats his last 4 starts than Darnold's last 4
