***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

They’ve put out a couple draft videos over the last couple years and KOC and Kwesi are always sitting next to each other discussing picks. Whichever one made the final call, KOC was 100% a strong voice in it.
Not to mention it seems highly unlikely a GM is going to trade away picks for a QB without the coaches strong buy-in.

I do agree with your point here. Keeping in mind that Kwesi's drafts are dead last in the NFL (2021-2024) for success rate, it appears the Vikings need to restrict the coaching draft input, or clean house of everyone and start over.

Where is this ranking avail?

How old is this? Turner has been a fine pick. Limited run last season due to lack of need, playing fine and showing signs of getting better as this season has progressed. It also talks of the bad early drafts but then skips over drafting who is probably the best WR2 in the league in 2023?

There's been some gaps, but it's not nearly as bleak as this sounds. They've struggled to draft DBs and IOL, then chose to fill both this season via free agency. There's plenty of talent otherwise around the roster.

The Pioneer Press put that out on Sept 5th of 2025

It's time to rip off the band-aid and see if JJ is the real deal or a bust. We are barely treading water right now. Stop hiding him. To keep 1/2 assing it with backups is not going to help in any way to determine the future of the position.

We will see about Turner. He’s been OK but probably not as good as you need out of 17th overall guy in year 2. Addison was a great pick, but it was a first rounder. He’s been better than a typical late first WR, for sure.

They’ve done really well funding good FA value on D. T but realistically unless McCarthy hits, the draft performance is looking bad.

There are only 4 teams in the NFC that are worse than Minnesota. It's McCarthy time

I'm hoping he hits too, 'cuz if he doesn't, I would begin to wonder if KOC doesn't stay long after. A coach of his caliber won't feel a need to be shackled by front office performance (whether it's partially or fully his fault or not).

I'd argue we need to wait until end of 2026 to see if he is a bust or not. I just want to see him stay healthy for more than 2 games in a row, show signs of growth this year, and then 2026 is the real determination on if he's a franchise QB or not

Still befuddled why the Wilfs gave Kwesi an extension. He has not earned it at this point. I like KOC and hope he sticks for a while.

They'd be a fool to bring JJ back and have to face the Lions and Aidan Hutchinson.. I would just sit JJ until the B2B home games 11/9-11/16. Then you finish the year with 5 home games and 4 road games. At Dallas is in a dome and against just an ok defense. Giants after that could be fighting for the #1 pick, so your only tough road games after next Sunday in Detroit are at Green Bay (11/23) and at Seattle (11/30).. Unlikely those games will be in the freezing cold

Guess he's still hurt. Frankly, I'm fine with that. If the goal is still to play him enough to see what we have, then you can't do that with him being 75% or less on a bum ankle that's likely to re-injure in that scenario anyway. Get him to 100%, then let him finish the season out.

As for Wentz... there isn't really a need to push him out there while hurt either, but I'm sure they view his experience as better to work with short-term than throwing Brosmer out there.
