Higgrns started and has been in a lot. Several plays had all 3 Cyclones in the game.
My bad. Allen said most of the Texans starters and 2nd-teamers weren't playing and I thought Higgins was at least 2nd team.

He is. Rookies would always play. They need actual NFL experience. Probably just returning guys sitting. My bad. Allen said most of the Texans starters and 2nd-teamers weren't playing and I thought Higgins was at least 2nd team.
I'm not sure they've really had this worse than most. Everyone loses somebody it seems.Death, Taxes, and Vikings losing players before the season begins for the whole year.
That's what happens when a majority of the free agents you sign have a history of getting injured. I don't think Moore is a huge loss though, but someone is gonna have to step up during Addison's suspension.Death, Taxes, and Vikings losing players before the season begins for the whole year.
KC is essentially middle of the pack in injuries over the past 5 years. Who is injured may be far more important.I'm not a Chiefs fan, but I have to give Andy Reid a lot of credit in player acquisition: He does not draft or sign players with injury histories if he can help it. I realize he is not the sole decision maker, but he does believe strongly in avoiding players with injury issues.
Except for their 1st round pick this year who had a very serious knee injury (torn patella tendon). I get that one though because they were desperate for a Left Tackle and Simmons was by far the best one left.I'm not a Chiefs fan, but I have to give Andy Reid a lot of credit in player acquisition: He does not draft or sign players with injury histories if he can help it. Would depend heavily on the deal and what's on his contract. He's a nice story but how useful still, really?I know it is unlikely because Carolina would be dumb to trade him, but I'd love to get Adam Thielen back in the mix. He worked out with McCarthy a lot this summer so there is already chemistry there - and he's a Minnesota kid. Would be awesome to bring him home.
To me, the jury is out on CJ as a QB. He was good as a rookie and last year he took a step back. He does have the abilities to be a good one for sure. tOSU qbs tend to flop in the NFL, tho.Obviously I would like for all Cyclone WR's to stay on the Texans...however...there is a selfish part of me that would like one or two of them to go to the Vikings. But Shroud is a good QB, so they are in a great place.
He has 1 year left on his contract. He was pretty productive last year. Think he'd be great to fill in while Adison is suspended and then step into the slot WR3 role. And cannot underestimate his leadership and the fact that he already knows KOC's offense. He could step in day 1 and play. If they could get him for a mid-round pick, I think it would be a great pickup.Would depend heavily on the deal and what's on his contract. He's a nice story but how useful still, really?
Yeah, you very well might be right. If he has a good year it's only because he has an extremely intelligent and skillful WR corps. To me, the jury is out on CJ as a QB. They're talking about bringing back K.J. Osborn, who is currently with the Washington Commanders.I know it is unlikely because Carolina would be dumb to trade him, but I'd love to get Adam Thielen back in the mix.
