If I hadn't been a Vikings fan for so long, I would have expected something different tonight. Luckily, after the way they started the season, I knew exactly how this would end.

Couch viewing says... KOC gameplans offensively tend to just get... immobile. It's like if his plan doesn't work, he doesn't adjust well in real time to what's happening with their defense. He also doesn't adjust his playcalling well based on the exact play quality of his players that particular day.

Media people are stupid and despite them covering the NFL for a living repeat the same stupid “you have to lock up your franchise QB” nonsense for all these non-elite QBs. Then when the roster is downgraded and the team isn’t as good, the same idiots talk about how the teams need to surround the QB with more talent. As if the former isn’t preventing the latter.

Honestly, I look at making the playoffs as the win this year. I knew this team was a fake ID all year. I've been a fan since 1973. I was born in '70, but one of my first memories is watching a game with my dad, sitting on the shag carpet in front of our massive 25" console TV that had a stero in it. I've tried many times to give them up, but it just isn't happening.

I really like our linebackers - Pace, Van Ginkel, Greenard, Metellus, Cashman, Turner. And they all return next year.

One thing I can’t stand about football teams in college and nfl is when you are down by 4 scores and you have no urgency and bleed the play clock. Shouldn’t every possession be closer to a 2 min drill when there is only 18 mins left in the game?

I think it's easy to think everyone isn't a good player, coach...whatever...in a game like this...but usually you're never as great as you think when everything is going right and never as horrible as everyone thinks you are when it's going bad

This last play with darnold running is what he is lacking.
That was there with the lions and this game. Too bad it took being down 100 to figure that out.
