Didn’t expect this lions defense to look like this, but like they just said on the broadcast they probably see how long Darnold holds the ball and thought they could get to him. So far it’s working. I trust KOC to scheme up some easier looks in the second half.

Just horrendous mistake to make there. Go into half down 1 and the ball to start the second half. Then you boner that hard.

Not a good half today the least on offense and special teams. Will take only being down 4 with how horrid their redzone offense was. Should be tied, and easily could be up 4. Still lots of positives to take away. Defense has been playing pretty well.
Well on the bright side, the offense played like hot garbage and they are only down 4 at the half.
The 2nd down snapping it with 15 on the play clock was just as terrible. You had the clock and timeouts both on your side.
KOC isn’t good at that kind of stuff. He’s good at a lot of things but end of half clock management isn’t one of those things.
Reichard might be in his own head. Missed kicks last week, shaky on the first chip shot, shanks a kickoff.
But if the offense doesn’t dramatically improve against a short handed Lions defense, it won’t matter.

If it wasn’t for the fact I didn’t think the Vikings would even make the playoffs at the start of this year I’d be really pissed. That being said, Darnold is playing himself in to a massive pay cut. Who the **** watches this and thinks, “Oh, we have to pay top dollar for that.”

Agree. Unless he comes and performs magic in 2nd half he isn’t making 40+ million in offseason
