***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

I dont think this game ends up being close honestly. Detroit has a lot of pent up energy to deal with.

I am more pissed about having to go on the road the whole time as a14 win team

As fars as defense against the lions,
Goes Gibbs, Laporta, st brown, repeat.

That’s just how NFL contracts work. A 7th year guy taking a team to the doorstep of the top seed of course is going to get more than a 3rd year guy still on his rookie contract, even if he took his team to the Super Bowl. It’s set up that way intentionally.
Though it’s a little odd to just get out of the Cousins contract, understanding how it handicapped the team. Then see Darnold put up a season that is basically exactly what Cousins did during his Minnesota career and be in the position to jump right back into a big long-term deal.

It's obvious the Lions are going to blitz hard. They need to adjust and run some quick hitting passes to JJ and Addison. I fee like Darnold is playing with fire standing back there for 3+ seconds each play.

Darnold is sailing all these passes. Inside the 5 for 7 plays and no rushes
