Anyone else having issues with watching baseball tonight? My screen is a total mess for a short time , then clears up. Seems to be an espn thing.

I’m with you. I’ve recently quit a job that made me work insane hours every October. I was finally able to watch a playoff game for the first time in a long time. This one feels especially sweet!
100% agree here. Underrated signings, all of them have been great glue type of players. None of them are stars, but they are guys you can win games with.

Pretty cool that several of these guys, including Royce Lewis, got to play for us here in Cedar Rapids.
While we did get to see a lot of future MLB talent as an Angels affiliate (Trout, Aybar, Napoli, Kotchman, just off the top of my head), becoming a Twins affiliate was a huge plus for the Kernels.

Agree, and you’re getting to watch the next Twins star— Brooks Lee. He should be on the big league team next year, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Twins FO drag their feet.
He will debut next year for sure. Cedar Rapids did not get to see him much though. 25 games in 2022 then he was off to Wichita and was only in AA and AAA this year.
Next year, though, I suspect their latest top draft pick, Walker Jenkins, will spend most of the year in Cedar Rapids. If not 2024, 2025 for sure.
I’ve been a Twins fan ever since I was a kid, watching Kirby Puckett and company beat Atlanta. Anyways, it’s been so long since we’ve actually had any kind of successes in the postseason that I had kind of forgotten the joy that it brings. It’s nice to see these guys finally get rewarded after grinding all year.
About had a heart attack when I saw Pagone warming up, but Duran said ‘No not today’. Twins pitching and Correa in playoff form. I like the Twins chance against the Astros.
I knew it had been a long time since they had won a playoff game, but I was surprised it was 2004 and 18 games. Such a weird ass streak. The Twins were a good team a lot of those 18 years.
