Just sat down to watch the game. First play I see, the 3rd baseman dropping a line drive. Bad news when a professional announcer doesn’t know a 3rd baseman from a 2nd baseman. Gotta turn the volume down, can’t listen to those 2 guys.

I don’t know how this game or the rest of the season will end, but how about a tip of the cap to the front office. The underrated signings of Michael A Taylor, Castro, and Solano really helped.
We need 103 mph heat and the streak ends. Don’t was time with curveballs here, but most likely that will be Duran’s first pitch.

I’m seriously so happy. Had to listen to the last hour of it on my wireless speaker coaching little kids flag football. When Duran came in, I told the other coach, “you’re in dude. I need a minute.” And sat there in the grass listening to them do it. I’ve been a twins fan since I could breath and it was my first sports love. I seriously almost shed a tear. Go Twins, boys. The god damn streak is over.
This might be a ’87 Twins type team. Two (or three depending) good starting pitchers and power at the plate. They just need to follow Royce’s spirit like they did with Gaetti.
