MLB: ***2026 Minnesota Twins***

League best ERA.

Buxton and Correa combined .160 with runners in scoring position. Rest of the team .281.

There’s the problem.
I do think Correa will get it going. He traditionally gets better as the season goes along, I believe. However, it really sucks that is even a thing with how much they’re paying him.

He’s been hitting better recently. 6 hits in the last 5 games.

Another bonehead decision by Rocco to hook the game’s ERA leader after 79 pitches. Luckily, Royce, Jeffers, and Duran bail him out.

They tried to give Gray a chance to go longer but giving up a double then walking a guy absolutely merits hooking your starting pitcher in the 7th inning.

Nope. A bloop double and two blown strike calls on the next batter doesn’t merit pulling your best starter. Even the Astros announcers couldn’t believe Rocco pulled Gray.

I could drink 1 beer and my blood alcohol level would be higher than Correa batting average.

When I get frustrated with the Twins lack of scoring, I just need to look at Oakland. I mean, Damn. And if Cleveland's pitching suffers, look out.

Surprised they are around league average.

When Correa gets hot, their offense will really perk up.

Never expected much out of Pagone, but it’s too bad Jax and Lopez have regressed like they have. Lopez’ last couple of outings makes you wonder if his confidence is shot.

Won season series against Houston and Yankees....I'll take it. Need to fatten up against the Guardians now because we go to Tampa afterwards. However, beyond that the Twins have gotten most of their hardest road trips done with already.

Detroit has a cakewalk for the next week or two.

Funny how much better the Twins are without Correa and Buxton in the lineup. Benching them yesterday turned out to be genius. Maybe Rocco has stumbled onto something.

I hesitate to rely on Solano going 2 for 4 with 4 RBIs each game.

I looked up team stats and realized that Castro is leading the team in WAR at 1.1 followed by Jeffers at 1.0 Freaking Wallner is 4th and spent time in StP.

Sounds like Buxton’s knee is an issue again and won’t be an everyday guy. Not sure what Correa’s excuse is. Not overly worried about Carlos’ early lack of production. He’ll heat up.

The season is one third over. Correa better start heating up yesterday. No excuses from him.... you want that kind of money? Start playing like it.

Time to give up on Kepler, even if all you get for him is a bag of sunflower seeds. Wallner should be the everyday RF
