I'm not counting on it either, but I suppose there is always a chance. He won’t, IMO. They still need a stopgap SS before Lewis comes back (and pray he does what he’s capable of).

Maybe if he snaps his femur in half or something.I'm not counting on it either, but I suppose there is always a chance.
The closer Correa inches toward .250, the better the chances become.I'm not counting on it either, but I suppose there is always a chance.
You guys… there is no scenario outside of him having a catastrophic injury that he plays with the twins after this year. He will sign a long term deal elsewhere and for money the Pohlads will never pay. Enjoy what we have now. Seize the day!The closer Correa inches toward .250, the better the chances become.
Shouldn’t of gotten to that point. The big guns need to do their job in the pen.Pagan nice! Not!!!
Honestly not sure how the Twins lost this game. Rocco pulls Bundy after only 65 pitches and only had given up 2 hits. Why?
This game is going to sting!
'Third time through the order' analytics rules the day again. Bert Blyleven is glad he didn't pitch for Falvey/Rocco and co.Pagan nice! Not!!!

Yet another dumb application of analytics. A pitcher getting through the lineup twice with guys clearly not picking up the ball well needs to stay in, particularly when your bullpen sucks. Does Rocco watch the games?'Third time through the order' analytics rules the day again. Bert Blyleven is glad he didn't pitch for Falvey/Rocco and co.
But one the other hand, Duran and Lopez just didn't get it done. And Kepler has been terrible with men on base.
Well, the got the game to Duran and Lopez with no runs. How exactly would have 7 shutout innings from Bundy prevented this?Yet another dumb application of analytics. This. If they do their job, we’re not talking about this. Lopez screwing the pooch twice already doesn’t make me feel very warm and fuzzy inside.Well, the got the game to Duran and Lopez with no runs. How exactly would have 7 shutout innings from Bundy prevented this?
Maybe we see Jax later instead of Pa-gone?Well, the got the game to Duran and Lopez with no runs. How exactly would have 7 shutout innings from Bundy prevented this?
Why? Don’t like seeing a guy throw middle-middle heaters with no movement in extras in a tie game?Maybe we see Jax later instead of Pa-gone?
Falvey and Rocco must not have enough stats for them to see that Pa-gone can only be used in mop-up situations. Why? Don’t like seeing a guy throw middle-middle heaters with no movement in extras in a tie game?
I think Pagan’s days with the Twins are numbered. Surprised he wasn’t DFA’d after last night’s game.Maybe we see Jax later instead of Pa-gone?

You can't operate the rotation like they do without some sort of long reliever which they really don't have. There is an Athletic article this morning criticizing the Twins for basically have a blind spot for Pagan and the continual hope that he turns it around. They also mentioned this weakness is amplified when they rarely let starters face batters a third time, forcing extended use of the bullpen. Seems pretty common sense to most anyone watching the games, but not everyone gets it I guess.
Only the analytics boys agreed with Falvey/Rocco early on that Pa-gone was a closer, Buxton should lead off, Arraez should platoon against lefties, Gio was not an everyday third baseman, and that none of our starters can go beyond 5.There is an Athletic article this morning criticizing the Twins for basically have a blind spot for Pagan and the continual hope that he turns it around.
