***2026 ISU Volleyball Thread***

Can someone explain the strategy behind not having a setter on the court? Is it to have more hitters available?

Looks like Seniors Day will still be open for ticket holders brave enough to go out in the storm. For those that show up, cheer loud. For those staying comfy at home, send tons of positive vibes. Hopefully the ladies will end the season on a high note with some momentum for the tourney.

what time is the start?

What a strange week. Hopefully they can pull out of this funk and make a comeback. Promising to hear Pam is nearing a return. Brenizer has been super solid and has a killer serve, but Pam’s blocking and quick hits are missed.

Is the team sick? I don’t understand the regression the past 48 hours. Usually CJLs teams are peaking right about now.

Anyone else having problems getting the ISU athletic website to load, wanted to follow the score and the site won't load right now.

The Senior portion was very nice, especially the video from Paula’s parents.

The game on the other hand was not so great. It felt like the team was either tired or just that 10% off. The ball seemed to roll KSUs way when it was close. The final stats said it all

ISU 26 attacks, 21 errors, .043 hitting %, 7 blocks 2 aces
KSU 45 attacks, 15 errors, .233 hitting %, 10 blocks, 6 aces

Hope this is the stinker before the tournament and not another first round Hawaii.

I've watched many matches on tv from home this season, but attended the final three matches in person. I felt like today was the worst this team played all season over an entire match. Just lifeless, which was shocking, especially on senior day. They had something to play for going into the Kansas game, then for pride today. But absolutely nothing good happened on the court. Instead of a reasonable chance at hosting (had we taken both matches), we'll be lucky to not be sent to Lincoln or Madison and get booted in the first round. It's very unfortunate and puzzling, considering what a great (if not unexpected) ride the rest of the season was.

We play St. Thomas-Minnesota (21-9) in 1st Round at University of Minnesota. IF we win would play the winner of Minnesota-Fairfield .

If fortunate enough to get out of the 1st Weekend would likely play #1 Region seed Pittsburgh.

The Big XII is represented well. Realistically, there are some clear out-of- conference powerhouse favorites that are going to likely be in there at the end, but we have some teams that could disrupt the bracket.
