This seems like a nice last-minute pickup. Beef up the O-line, baby.
Sorry, haven’t been here in a while. For multiple reasons.
This is the one I’ve been waiting for for a while, even before he was rated. Long and incredibly athletic.
Just a note, my impression of Rogers’ WSU class was that he did just as good of a job at finding hidden gems as Campbell did—only, on a broader scale. And he brought the best ones.
Not sure how much I’ll be around. Two more surgeries on my eyes upcoming, one in two weeks, then likely a third down the line.

On3 and Rivals have him as a 4 Star. Rivals #244 ranked player. 247 definitely was a lot lower than those two.
Makelela is really interesting. In high school, he also played basketball and volleyball (certainly don't expect volleyball from an OL recruit). In basketball, he averaged double-digit points and rebounds, plus ~3 assists in his junior and senior years.
According to Rogers's quotes from when Makelela signed with WSU, Makelela came to the US at 14 and speaks English, French, and Spanish.

It looks like Jimmy recovered and signed a decent recruiting class. Does anyone know how this compared recruiting rating we had before MC left?
Believe we were 49th in the composite before MC left (could be wrong). Now 55th. We were also 55th in each of the last 2 classes on the composite rankings.

This o-lineman reminds me of a bigger Kuol Kuol. Nice athleticism in a huge frame. Potential to be a starter after a redshirt season.

Agree. Looks like he entered portal in January but never committed anywhere. Would be curious the background on decision to delay changing schools:
- Limited offers
- Waiting for spring rosters to solidify to pick best option
- Wanted to finish spring semester at Tulane (top academic school)
