I didn't realize Josiah Harrington was such a highly rated recruit (#30 on 247).

247 says Harrington is committed to Iowa State. When did that happen? (September, I see.) Class of 2027.

And 247 in the bio says he's from Cedar Falls, but the box says Eldridge North Scott.

(Don't know how I missed all this.)

Just so I'm clear, we've got people arguing that guy who had a <100 ORtg at Monmouth is amazing because Kevin Durant and LaMelo Ball are also skinny?
Not at all, that was not stated or implied. Those examples were provided in response to someone who thought his thin build meant he couldn’t play at a high level.

You are listing the best players in the world. This guy is solely a chucker at not a great percentage that apparently doesn't play good defense or rebound at a good rate. But yeah, go ahead and list all-world, long athletic, good defensive players because they are thin.
I'll for sure follow how he does at a step up but from his Monmouth stats he's not very efficient and won't be able to defend.
Oh I have no idea on this guy specifically. My commentary was on the false narrative that anytime a player is skinny people always say “well they need to bulk up”

Or maybe, he played for a really terrible Monmoth team that needed him to score a boat load of points, which led to some pretty inefficient looks from 3. I am just saying he has some potential especially as a 6'7" player with 2 years of eligibility. Shooters that can space the floor like this kid are welcome on any team even when they can't play defense.
Agree. But there are 100s of portal guys that shoot 38% from 3. Not all of them had teams that let them shoot 11/game. If I was a team interested in him I'd worry about his limitations vs his 1 strength.

Well to be honest, the list is too long for small guys that suck. Would be a waste of time to start that

Is it me or does Kansas pretty much needs like 10 transfers given their attrition rate
They have like 1 person they can lock into their rotation for next year and he's a freshman. They are in a terrible spot

I care more about the staff.

We're still talking about basketball, right?
Here's our basketball checklist for needs:

A big guy that's good at banging down low
A combo guard that gets deep penetration down the middle
A wing that can go backdoor
Players that can pound it hard inside
Athletes that can double team
A team with enough stamina to go all night

My ex girlfriend said I pound it hard inside. Sign me up for the team.
