Not sure why we are recruiting guards. We have Heise, Williams, Bateman, and Toure. Maybe we pick up someone who can play some point? 2 guard is stacked.
We learned this year that you need 3 ball-handling guards. Only Lipsey is proven to be that for next year. Maybe Williams, Bateman and/or Toure will be one but they are all unproven at this point.

Somewhere along the line fans started acting like being skinny is bad and you have to be built like a cornerback. I mean Tyrese Haliburton was a skinny skinny dude in college. Diante Garrett was super skinny. Both NBA players. Being skinny does not mean they are not strong. Just means they don't have the ability like some of us to show muscle and build a frame. I have worked out with super skinny dudes who were strong as hell. Look at guys in the UFC like Max Holloway. Dude is a pencil but will snatch you up and mangle you.
Kevin Durant is one of the top 20 players of all time and I doubt he could bench 100 lbs

Being “skinny” is like not having a big arm for a QB. One of the least important aspects of all the “important” things a player needs

The NBA did a "draft combine" at the time (not sure if this is still a thing) where they did a 185-lb bench for reps and I recall Durant couldn't do it once.

Guess that is why his offer list right now includes teams like: Alabama, Kentucky, Kansas, Ole Miss, etc. etc. Get to know ball.
Exactly. Remember the fools trashing Kevin Durant because of how little he could bench press?

I recall some video of Wemby getting pushed around in the post by some nobody Euro center, and he turned out okay too.

There have been many great teams with two ball handling guards. Three is great but ifs not a necessity. There are many ways to construct a winning roster.

Durant is an outlier in many ways. Strength and size is very important in today's game. College and NBA.

You are correct but right now we only have one for sure. And Lipsey, as good as he is, does turn the ball over.

If you want to get by with two ball-handling guards, one of them better be at least as steadying and have the stamina of Monte.
