Yeah, agree, but one should come with the other. Not always, but should. But do agree, winning is the main goal. With or without NFL players, although having better players should make the winning easier.Yeah but that's not the coaches primary job.
Just look at Iowa, based on the number of guys they put in the NFL you'd think they are National Title contenders every year, but they aren't. As a fan I prefer the coaches concentrate on winning games and let the NFL thing happen. If I was a fan of Iowa I'd be very disappointed in the results based on the "NFL talent" on the rosters.
He reminds me of JJ Moses.Xavier Townsend is probably a better version of Eli Sanders. At least that's my hope.
this could be a game changing get for someone. Without any info, it seems like this is an Oregon guy given the location, their warchest, and needing to replace Tez Johnson
Three years, two sacks. If we could land this guy, it would be a huge win.
Three years, two sacks.
To a small extent, sort of. And no, most D1 starters do not consider themselves NFL players.Getting guys to the NFL helps you win games at ISU. Most D1 starters think they are future NFL players.
Watch some tape. Good technique and instincts, would like to see him in a different system to utilize that and his high motor. Needs coaching but would help next year...IMO.Three years, two sacks.
Im on the fence. He's struggled putting on weight and at that size in a 3-3-5... IDK. Will was not a giant of a man but he was taller / longer and with that length could keep blockers away from his body a bit more and a little bit heavier.Watch some tape. Treyveon McGee in the portal again. Kenard Snyder to Texas State.
Snyder was a big recruiting blunder. Not remotely B12 caliber. Wish him well.Treyveon McGee in the portal again. Kenard Snyder to Texas State.
Will has elite quickness. Elite.Im on the fence. He's struggled putting on weight and at that size in a 3-3-5... IDK. Will was not a giant of a man but he was taller / longer and with that length could keep blockers away from his body a bit more and a little bit heavier.
He's intriguing but the documented problems he had at UW of putting on weight ... at around 220 pounds... that's really light for an edge rusher, especially in a 3-3-5
