Wow Scheffler
I fully understand, and agree, that he already has to be considered one of the all time greats…. I just find myself turning the channel most weeks now…. he’s not that entertaining to watch.I know some feel he's not exciting to watch, but historic greatness is enthralling.
Morikawa?Scottie is clearly the dominant player of this era. I'd really like to see a couple rivals battle him for that supremacy though. Rory has the talent, but doesn't seem interested enough anymore. Aberg might be close to him in talent, but doesn't seem to have the intensity yet. Xander? Morikawa?
I think it's a pretty weird thing, he went 71 tournaments not sniffing winning and now he can't be beat.I fully understand, and agree, that he already has to be considered one of the all time greats…. I just find myself turning the channel most weeks now…. he’s not that entertaining to watch.
I also think you're sort of pointing out the problem, Thomas is 4th in the ranking and Morikawa was 5th (now 7th) and I don't think there's a snowballs chance either one could win anything worthwhile.Scottie is clearly the dominant player of this era. Anyone I could list has some holes in their game compared to Scottie, but Collin does have two majors under his belt. I think Akshay Bhatia has a chance to be really, really good too and he's only 23 and skipped the college route, so his game is a little raw.Morikawa?
Seriously?
That's fair. Someone is going to have to seriously elevate their game to compete with Scottie.I also think you're sort of pointing out the problem, Thomas is 4th in the ranking and Morikawa was 5th (now 7th) and I don't think there's a snowballs chance either one could win anything worthwhile.
Bhatia will never get anywhere being so overweight.Anyone I could list has some holes in their game compared to Scottie, but Collin does have two majors under his belt.
