3 weeks from tonight...getting closer.

Steelers have Metcalf and Pickens, they need a speedy slot guy like Noel.

As of right now I got Noel going 1st round to the Rams, Higgins round 2 to Seattle, Porter round 3 to the Jets, Travis round 4 to Detroit, Verdon round 7 to San Francisco.
I’m not sure how many connections Poteat still has to the League, but he seems supremely confident about Darien.

I know who they have. I'm not disagreeing on who they have or should draft. I was just reporting what I saw that they brought him in for a top 30 visit. Noel or Higgins could sneak in the first. I doubt both do. Porter I could see also maybe going in the mid-2nd. His upside is pretty dang high since he doesn't have a lot of experience but the measurables and metrics are there.

our guys seemed to test really well in the pre-draft evaluations. Is this due to the change in our S&C staff?

We have a few guys that are likely day two guys and it will be interesting if one of them sneaks into the first round.

Is bet mid 3rd is the latest that Porter goes. If he does go that late it will be because he lacks experience at corner. I think I'm gonna end up having him go 2nd round when I finish my mock draft. I think Noel really could go late 1st but early-mid 2nd is probably more realistic.

Based on all the mock drafts I've seen, there appears to be a reasonable expectation for any of them to go anywhere from the 1st to the third.

Also concerns with run support and tackling with Porter.

I think Higgins and Noel go in 2nd, Porter 3rd.

From what I’ve read, GMs expect Porter to excel in a zone scheme but struggle in man to man (despite his testing). So only certain teams will value him as a corner. Everyone should value him on special teams though. The guy is elite there.
