2025 MBB Coaching Carousel

are three any other P5 jobs that are still going to open up because the coach is fired or retires? i kind of thought fred was going to be shown the door in lincoln. it sounds like hurley is back at ASU next year. did miami settle on a permanent coach?

I didn't realize until looking at it in its entirety; add in Texas and there are a number of major jobs open.

Gottlieb had a guest on that said Nova might have Porter Moser in the lead for the search.

WTF are they doing?
Collins or Moser? Puke.

Maybe if Villinova took Moser, we might get another crack at Kai Rogers? Unless he would follow him to Nova.

McCollum can make Iowa wait a long time.
I'd be shocked if WV doesn't take a look.
If Moser would go to Nova, OU should take a look.
If McCasland goes to UT, Tech should take a look.

Those are all much better jobs.
You'd think WV would go after McCollum, but I bet they have a horrible taste in their mouth when it comes to former Drake coaches.

The West Virginia AD worked with him at Southeast or west or whatever Missouri. There's supposedly a pretty close relationship there.

Here is the wildcard, Kansas. Bill Self almost took Oklahoma State last year. After another disappointing year at Kansas, maybe he's decided its time to move on?

That's very true and I could see the AD and McCollum reuniting. But I know a lot of WV fans and athletic staff feel very betrayed by the last Drake coach they hired.

Texas may have more money for mbb than WVU but WVU would be the better job administration support wise. IMO.

Ehhh....they are probably happy with the 6 million they are getting.

If McCollum ends up in sukeyeville…..
They’ll never have enough money $$ for the Stirtz kid !
