Someone almost died in that crash? I thought his buddy the track guy had minor injuries and was released the next day and the lady in the other vehicle had minor injuries . Virtue signaling 101
That’s my fault I thought Rodriguez was still in the car with AJ while it was on fire for trying to pass 3 cars in a no passing zone. Completely my fault for overselling how dumb and reckless he was in that situation.

I lost a grandfather in an accident similar to the one AJ caused. IMO the guy should be in prison. But your take on AE is wildly off base. His charges weren't "dismissed".

He was initially charged with a felony. He either pled down to a minor misdemeanor or they were dropped.

Agree on AJ needing to be in prison. Totally agree with you bud.

Official way too early prediction:
125- Stevo Dec Petersen 3-0 ISU- coin flip, but Stevo shows out in his first big Hilton dual
133- Ayala Dec Frost 3-3- Is Reineri wrestles, he beats Drake. But early season Frost still getting down to weight is a concern
141- Ech Dec Bailey 6-3 ISU- Ech dominates Bailey from neutral, but biggest concern is if Bailey gets on top with the tilts. I like Ech here
149- Frost Dec Alvarez 9-3 ISU - really not sure who Iowa will wrestle here since it is very 50/50 on Williams and Alvarez. Could be Estrada too? Regardless I like Frost or Paniro to take care of business
157- Caliendo Dec Zerban 9-6 ISU - Caliendo gets out to a big lead early, then gasses from the cut but Zerban comes up just short (think Kennedy/Gaitan from 2 years ago)
165- Kennedy Major Powe 10-9 Iowa- Lights a little to bright for Melton early on, but he still shows some good things against Kennedy
174- Gaitan Dec Arnold 12-10 ISU- MJ takes a big step forward after a full offseason bulking up and focusing on 174
184- Ferrari Dec Dean 13-12 Iowa- Dean competes hard, but Angelo is just a tier above
197- Elam Dec Endene 15-13 ISU- Could be a major, but I think Rocky wins comfortably
Hwt- Yonger MDec Kueter 19-13 ISU- A fully healthy Yonger shows why he's a serious national title contender and dominates Kueter. It will also be early in the season with Kueter working back from his hip injury, so I think he shows a little rust.

Obviously very dependent on how Iowa's lineup shakes out 149-184, but this will probably be one of the first times where it isn't a completely "homer-ish" view to pick Iowa State over Iowa. Sure, Iowa will still probably be favored and I am definitely biased, but this will be the best lineup Iowa State has had in a very long time.

Not exactly sure.
They both had an assault on a female charge that was dismissed.

AJ almost killed another man in a car accident, punched his own teammate and flipped off his own fan base. What a dumb argument.
Teammate stuff doesn’t matter there. They had a wrestler threaten the parents of another and nothing happened.

Powe won't be the guy. He needs a RS and will probably be a 174 . Remember he's a Juco guy so getting adjusted to academics will be difficult so a RS is probably best. 165 Euton/Riggins again

I’d take this in a heartbeat, of course. The 174 result is hard for me to picture, TBH.

Definitely a strong possibility it is Euton or Riggins. Main thing I'm concerned about with Euton is missing significant training as he recovers from the knee injury. Riggins improved a ton throughout the year. Whoever it is, I think PK wins comfortably.

I don’t see a scenario Alvarez wrestles for Iowa.

149 Block
157 Estrada
