Nope, at least I hope not. Starling was in fields for 2 years before things went in the news. Was Duracade like that.

I buy ambrosia hybrid from Brekkes in Ames for my garden. Already has an applied fungicide.
Prefer that over peaches and cream which seems to be everywhere.

Free seed from seed corn dealer if we have time. Lately been buying from the Gates Family who have a well managed and marketing program in a wide area around Creston. They plant different maturities that are staged to market early and end late to have a steady supply all summer. A large family with grandkids now.
3.2 thru 3.5, we’re 15 miles from the Missouri line and 25 miles SW of Creston. We have planted some late 2’s on 40 acres or less to get the combine and platform set up and ready to roll. Early beans don’t yield like 3’s down here. 4.0’s were traditional for decades and 3.8 were a big thing for a long time.
