Iowa State bounces back from a run-rule loss (10-0) to Baylor yesterday, getting a walk-off win today, 2-1.

2-out double scored the winning run from 2nd.

Series finale tomorrow, and still a lot of jockeying involved for Big 12 seeding (and bye spots).

Had to look at the Baylor Roster. Chatted with Jensen while on a walking tour in Salem, Mass. very nice and respectful young lady. See she has not played much at all, hope she gets to see some time.

Cyclones wrap up the #3 seed and a first-round bye in OKC. Should be noted that the two teams ISU didn't play in the regular season are the #1 (Tech) and #2 (Arizona).

Just a couple amazing oddities here.
We’re the three seed but the only teams we didn’t play in conference were the one and two seeds.
The two possible quarterfinal opponents are the only teams the won their series against Iowa State.

As noted earlier in the thread, ISU and Arizona did not meet in the regular season.

The teams have only played 10 times ever, all in February/early March southern swings.
