People need to be prepared for the day when a small populated state like Iowa can't afford to have 2 collages that have D1 athletic teams. That day will come sooner than later I'm sorry to say.

Absolutely is risky.

What's the alternative?
There isn't one. We have to do it. Which is part of why the whole "our prices vs theirs" dialogue is kind of silly.

But, if a program sinks into a lull, don't be surprised to see very empty stands.

Our lower end tickets (both uppers and lowers) don't require a donation.
Jesus, your own image shows theirs dont either. And their lowest tickets are way less than ours too.

You cant be this obtuse.

That is correct. It has been stated here that i have to give a donation to the ncc for season tickets. You don't. And I think that is wrong.

NO, it doesnt "come with" It comes with the option to buy those You pay them on top.

And the highest donor levels at other places also come with those options too.
That’s obviously what I meant

What does the highest level donation of Kansas State come with and include?

Is there a minimum price tickets have to be? Why not put the cost of the tickets into the CC donations and sell season tickets for $1. Sales tax the base on a $1 season ticket.

Access to buy parking but not included? How many season tickets can you buy at the highest level?
What are you even arguing? Our upper levels are the same, access to but not included. Just ours is a much higher donation requirement, and even more when you include tic prices.

As far as I can find there is no limit on the number of tickets you can buy. But i dont know for sure.

U don't need a donation to buy all of our season tickets.

I think that is the wrong strategy.

Is that clear?
So you argue our tickets are somehow not more expensive than KSU.

You argue they have to pay a donation for all ticket levels, which is incorrect.

You somehow say our lowest tickets not having a donation requirement, but are still about double the cost of theirs is better.

Then you say our lowest tickets should also require donations to make them even more expensive?

What exactly are you arguing at this point.

Parking is included at donor levels. I was told by our AD that Kansas State maxes out at 4 tickets per donation vs 8 tickets for us which is a HUGE difference.

Sucks but not surprising. Our ticket cost is up around 75% over the last decade on our football seats that we've had since 2014. Been on the fence for a few years as to whether we should continue keeping them and it just keeps getting harder to justify with the costs of raising a family.

Apples to apples comparisons at a macro level: NCAA financial reports from last year point to KState with $18M in ticket revenue and $35M in club revenue. Iowa State had $21.5M in ticket revenue, $29M from club revenue. You can argue all you want about the price or the balance of how they get it between tickets and other money, but KState still raises more from attendance in their arenas/stadioum than ISU does.

Do u really think they haven't done that?
It's approx 20% of their budget. You can't cut your way to that unless you cut sports. Anyone who didn't think this letter (issue) wasn't coming hasn't wanted to hear it. No beer won't get us home. It will be a lot of levers. Fortunately, Jamie Pollard is one the best financial ADs out there. We have done more with less forever. This is where Jamie is best. Look how little debt service we have compared to peers. Jamie hasn't spent what he doesn't have 99% of the time.
