A LOT of skill out there. On both teams. These goalies fighting for their lives.
Some miscues for both teams, but each team taking advantage of the opportunities. This feels to be a far more open ice series than the Wild-Stars series.

Should be a fun series, although it should be played in the conference finals round

I expect a goalie change for game 2 for Minnesota
Even though he’s given up 6 goals, I think Wedgewood has been really good. Avs D has been leaky and giving the Wild good looks.

I wouldn’t say any of the Avs goals have been soft, but certainly some could have been stopped.

Most goals were very difficult to stop, but there were a few that he normally would save.

It wasn’t a very well played game IMO. Lots of mistakes by both teams. Offenses just made plays. Very curious to see what adjustments each team makes for game 2

Definitely some boneheaded plays. But it’s going to be cool to watch two really offensively surgical teams against each other this series.

Carolina wins in overtime to go up 2 - 0 in the series.

Possibly a controversial call on a waived off icing leads to the Vegas game winning goal and they take game 1.

NHL Draft Lottery tonight. Have a feeling it is going to be the NY Rangers or Toronto that wins it. Bettman going full David Stern.

The Avs will finish off Minn in 5 or 6. I don't see this being a 7 game series.

Guess it shouldn't be surprising but Wild switching Goalies tonight:

Hmmm. This was not the team in this series I expected a goalie change. The Avs were the ones coming into the playoffs with two goalies playing well.

2 goals in the first 3 minutes. Avs scored first and the Wild scored 6 seconds later.

Buffalo/Montreal should be great series. Not much home ice advantage for Buffalo ---looks like half the crowd in Buffalo are Montreal fans.
