Maybe, but Ross has a huge arc of development in my opinion. He can still put on a lot of size to his frame. He also doesn’t have near the partners his size at sebolt that mirasola had at AWA in high school. And I’m pretty sure the brothers moved to happy valley right away in the spring so they’ve been there nearly a year now. All that to say I still don’t think mirasola is a lock to AA next year
Agree he's not an AA currently

And luffman is a ways from a title contender. My point was that it seems like Penn state has a title contender at the upper weights, all of them, nearly every year. Off memory who was their last one who wasn’t? Would be surprising to see Cael sit idle

7-8 years ago with Nevills at HWT he got 7th. Years ago Jan Johnson was the HWT and only won 1 match maybe 2016

Without adding any new transfers and not knowing about Ortega’s eligibility I’d say the lineup could look something like this….

125 Castillo FR - U17 World Silver
133 E Frost JR - All American
141 J Frost JR - All American
149 Echemendia SR - All American
157 Johnson JR - 2x NCAA Qualifier
165 Euton/Riggins JR - NCAA Qualifier
174 Gaitan JR - 2x NCAA Qualifier
184 Dean SR - NCAA Qualifier
197 Elam SR - 4x All American
285 Bastida SR - All American

I think this is close but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ech and J Frost switch wts.

I think our 2026 recruiting class will need to be really good, as we will need to reload or get some portal guys to fill holes.

Here is where Wrestlestat’s comp rankings have the 25-26 clones as of April 28th, in their top 33 projections.

125 - NR
133 - #10 - E. Frost
141 - #3 - J. Frost
149 - #7 - Ech
157 - #16 - Paniro
165 - #17 - Riggins
174 - #10 - MJ
184 - #14 - Dean
197 - #4 - Elam
285 - #1 - Yonger
That lineup probably puts us around the top 5, but no higher. Generally I think that some are underrated while others are overrated. Probably about evens out.

How did they decide our lineup from 33-57? Genuinely asking…is this the “highest rated” option it gave us and therefore what was sent out. Just curious if say Ech woild be rated higher individually at 41 compared to 49 but this was the highest “team” total that could be achieved so therefore this lineup “wins”
