I just did some cacklelating for the funz of it. After 7 games Hare has played 118 minutes, scoring 45, making an avg of 6.4 per game. Harris has played 105 minutes, scoring 64, for an avg of 9.14 per game. I'm not really suggesting anything here just noting. Perhaps before long coach will decide for her to start. Or perhaps Harris is like several players we've known over the years that just plays better when coming off the bench.

Matters who you play with as well. Harris plays primarily opposite of Addy and with the bench unit so more scoring opportunities.

Also with Harris being the backup 4 defensively, you really don't want her playing the same time as Addy just for rest purposes. Doubt you see her start at the 3 spot

I get ya. Sometimes the box score suggests so & so should start but the eye test says no. And of course chemistry and combination results often dictate some things as well. That's why I just coach the team from the internet.

The comment has been made a few times during different broadcasts that BF is using Harris in the Curtis Jones 6-man role. She can come in and provide the offensive spark with her 3-point shooting and overall enthusiastic attitude.

I disagree. Off ball offense is a lot better than last year. If Audi can't position herself early in the low post she stays high to set screens and waits for an oping to get low. Thus, opening up Addy to post up smaller defenders or Jada to get to the paint. Hare and Jackson are moving more off ball and running more designed plays for them to get open through flare screens, etc.

As far as Bill "boiling" over. It's over stuff every coach gets mad over because they talk about it a million times a year. Boxing out, getting back on defense, and making terrible passing decisions. All of which are likely a result of playing terrible teams and not being 100% focused because they don't need to be.
I think it’s a Coach Fenn strategy. When TJ’s wife Alison Lacey was playing for Bill, she joked about him to media after we had a blowout game. Apparently we were up about 50 at halftime and she and bill were last two going into locker room. As a star senior she earned a lot of leeway with him and made some comment “can’t wait to see what you have to yell about at halftime this time.”

In his post game he said it is hard to have a get tougher speech when you are way up in the score.

Torvik has us as 8 pt favorites vs Indiana
A 7-0 team vs an 8-0. Interesting matchup. Big-10 --- Big 12. Neither team has played a ranked team yet. Could it be said that IU's schedule might rank a little higher, playing the likes of FBCU, Gonzaga, & FL State ?? I haven't checked with the experts to find out. Tip it off. Lets see.

The early season and rankings of all college sports seem tough. Last year we were ranked high and played one of the tougher starts to the season, at least making the tournament. This year still ranked and preseason is a … “bit” kinder. Less injuries so far (knock on wood, rub the lucky rabbits foot, throw salt over the shoulder). So no true tell until conference play. Are the teams that the preseason coaches poll have above the sisters for real, are the sisters able to make some more noise… no real telling. Versus Marquette yesterday, the depth and experience sounded good.
