I disagree. Off ball offense is a lot better than last year. If Audi can't position herself early in the low post she stays high to set screens and waits for an oping to get low. Thus, opening up Addy to post up smaller defenders or Jada to get to the paint. Hare and Jackson are moving more off ball and running more designed plays for them to get open through flare screens, etc.As the twister sisters get ready for the first test, Drake, and watching the home games… I am a bit concerned. The concern isn’t the talent or the toughness of the team. My concern with the coach and the game plan. Watching CBF boil over at the start of every game that the team isn’t doing something “right “. The time to fix a majority of this was before the start of the season… and looking at he team, 4 of the 5 starters are returning for their 2 to third year. Plus watching the offense reminds me of the start of last year. The 3 player and sometimes the 2 standing like statues on the wings. Audi trying to get position down low, Addy fighting for what she can get and getting frustrated when the shots don’t fall. The positive is the zest that Jada and Reese bring in.
Maybe things will change later, but for a coach claiming to watch film to change up the offense, things look the same.
Rant over.
As far as Bill "boiling" over. It's over stuff every coach gets mad over because they talk about it a million times a year. Boxing out, getting back on defense, and making terrible passing decisions. All of which are likely a result of playing terrible teams and not being 100% focused because they don't need to be.
