It’s all about expectations. My marriage has kept going strong because I set low expectations from the start. Franklin made the mistake of letting that fanbase believe they had a chance to make it to the next level. But that will never happen with guys like Drew Allar QBing your team.

It's crazy the liability some of these schools have with their coaching staffs. I believe it was on ESPN.com, they mentioned FSU's buyout for Norvell was like $52M. No surprise.

Additionally, the buyout for his staff would be another $20M.

If a coach has any success (Norvell 2023), they have school in a tough spot to not sign-on to a huge future liability.

You can pay players actual NIL above and beyond whatever they’re getting from the revenue sharing pool, subject to approval by the independent clearing house. These amounts being thrown around for potential hires are likely sums of commitments schools have gotten from businesses

An article I read said they are just taking pre-existing marketing deals that companies had with the school and they just shift them over and now give the money to the students instead of the school.

$60 mil buyout. Even some bigger schools like FSU don’t have that kinda money to spend on buyouts.

Has to be the worst job in the P4. Coaching at a program that already doesn’t care about sports and then sticking them in the ACC is a joke
