USC is still +1800 to win the Big10. They do not play either tOSU or Oregon in the regular season. They also do not have any late season games at cold weather teams.

I kinda feel like that is good odds based on what I saw tonight.

Edit: To put this in perspective, ISU is +950 to win the Big12

Testifying
USC's noncon is LSU, Utah St, and Notre Dame?
Wow, that's tough.

Did they say earlier that LSU hasn’t won an opening game since 2019?
Yep.

2020 Lost to Miss St.
2021 Lost at UCLA
2022 Lost to Florida State (New Orleans)
2023 Lost to Florida State (Orlando)
2024 Lost to USC (Las Vegas)

They open at Clemson next year.

Switch to YouTube TV. You don't have to deal with that crap with them
I have been happy with YTTV, but this is absolutely not true. YTTV has to renegotiate carriage deals the same as the cable and sat companies. And being that a big part of their appeal is a lower monthly bill than cable, they may have less wiggle room on some of those negotiations.

YTTV actually had a brief outage with Disney due to a carriage contract dispute in 2021.

I've lost a local network for a period on YTTV. There was also a spat over MLB TV if I recall. These things happen with any provider, no way to avoid it.

True, but when that happens you can up and cancel YouTube with no problem and switch to something like Hulu. Satellite you're locked in (unless you're past your initial contract period)

Mostly agree but USC plays @ Michigan, v. PSU, @ Washington, along with v. Notre Dame OOC and then a few games that could prove tough like v. Wisco, v. Nebby. If they finish in the top 2 of the B1G they'll have earned it.

“A spat over MLB TV” that caused them to drop MLB TV, as a matter of fact. So yeah, it can happen with YTTV as well.

d'accord! Easy schedules have a way of becoming not easy schedules over the course of a season. There is a reason why so few teams go undefeated every year.

Wonder how much of this is FCS football has been dominated by Northern schools for a while. So when the SEC plays local FCS schools, it’s against average FCS teams and when the Big12 / Big10 schools play FCS it’s against the NDSU / SDSU teams that can give you a game if you’re not careful.
Exactly. The Valley and Big Sky are just head and shoulders above what the rest of the level is.

Those leagues are every bit as good as CUSA and the MAC at this point so it's really not a fair comparison to the SoCon and UAL teams that the ACC and SEC are playing.

Since there were zero alternatives on tv and was wiped out from yard work all afternoon, reluctantly I broke my going on 2nd year protest of not watching any Big 10 or SEC games unless it is the playoffs or affects Big 12 teams for playoffs.

Great game. Now back to the protest.

The SEC laid an egg this week.
Oh and Billy Napier has a $26 million buyout.

If A&M can afford to pay Jimbo over $70 million to go away, Florida can find that for Napier.

Probably, and it doesn’t really matter in the long run where it comes from but didn’t the 12th man foundation donate $70 million to a and m before Jimbos last game? And they had a big presentation?
