This sliding thing needs to get seriously looked at. This game is a travesty because The FAU qb just jump squats forward whenever he gets close to a defender
Not playing them and they lost to a god awful Colorado team. If I get colorados refs and we don’t have 150 penalty yards on BS I’d happily take them on
Love the arguing over targeting when in real time I was like he slid before getting first down.

That’s not his game, he has gotten 100 penality yards this game by doing that exact thing. He “slides” last min and draws a flag. He can’t survive a season doing that but for the first game of the season it’s been fairly effective
Iowa gets to play these Wisconsin and Minnesota teams every year…. I haven’t seen Nebraska play yet but they can’t look any worse than those two have right now. Nobody has it easier

Except he didn’t. He hit his shoulder that’s why no targeting, the dudes helmet has gone off about a dozen times this game. Still got 30 yards of penalties on that play due to the refs making another stupid call
Wouldn’t it have been a first down if he was given 30 yards of penalties on that play, rather than a turnover on downs?
Nope because it was deemed after the slide and the play was over.
Hit after the play (which it wasn’t) and throwing a helmet in frustration from another horrible PF call
I know I have been flipping channels between games but was it fourth down and more than 30 yards to attain first down? if not, I don’t understand given thirty yards in penalties on that play.
All good, if you weren’t a fan it’s better for your health and enjoyment of football to have not watched that.
It was 4th down when the QB slides the play is over. Because he was short the hit that came after was called a late hit with targeting and out of frustration for another BS call becuase this QB slides like a moron a player threw a helmet. Upon review it obv wasn’t targeting but the late hit 15yd and the helmet throw 15yd still stood
All the penalties came after the play was over so there was no first down. It was deemed a late hit and not targeting and then an unsportsmanlike after the play
