Jones is taller and longer than Grill. Grill is a better pure athlete for sure, but he's not very smooth at all. He is one of those guys that's going to put a good set of measurables in a combine but looks pretty unnatural sometimes in games.

I mean, regard Rutgers, Steve Pikiell is not a good coach and not sure why he's still there. There absolutely is a coaching problem when you have 2 of the top 3 talents in the draft and don't win, but also that was an atrocious roster aside from them. I don't care who your top 2 are, if your 3rd best player is Jeremiah Williams then your roster is trash.
On the Ace side specifically, I don't know that there is much evidence to say he was an issue or "cancer" at Rutgers. Was a streaky player for sure, but that's expected of a freshman of his build/skill set. The pre-draft process has been bad obviously, but he's far from the first young kid to get really bad advice from dirtbag agents/handlers. A lot of this drama seems to stem from his "agent" and he's a young man who needs to distance himself from that negative influence.
He's absolutely got high end talent, so you can see why the Jazz drafted him. From there side it's surely a case of, let's get this kid in the program, see if we can distance him from the folks who are feeding him bad advice and allow him to step into a clear path to being "the man", because his upside is pretty damn high.
I'll add this to the Bailey discourse. He's had his former AAU coach playing wannabe agent and giving terrible advice and probably souring conversations with some teams. Sounds like he's not a certified agent however, so Bailey has real agents that'll hopefully get him some real guidance.

Omar Cooper, who has represented Ace Bailey throughout the pre-draft process, has made some misguided decisions
