The NBA should add a third round to this draft. Teams have to fill out G League spots and could use an extra pick. Plus so many international players make for so few college guys getting picked.
Players already tell teams not to draft them in the 2nd round because they’ve already worked out UDFA deals elsewhere and there aren’t enough roster spots for a 3rd round anyhow. Would be a waste of time.

Neither Gilbert or Jones drafted, not a big surprise. I bet they'll get a shot in the G-league

CuJos age basically disqualified him from being drafted IMO. Hopefully he can land somewhere and ball out in summer league

He could get a serious look if he shoots the lights out. Decent length, decent defender.

Having watched his trajectory I think it's very clear he's still improving a lot despite age like you said.

I was hoping the Pacers would take a flier on CuJo late in the second round. His shooting ability would be a great fit. The Pacers have guard depth so it may not be the best option for making a roster.

Never understand why being 23 or 24 coming out of college means you can't play pro ball.
It certainly pushes teams away from drafting them early because teams want to spend their high draft capital on guys 19-20 who have an extra 4 years of development/prime available to the NBA team.

Also if your best college production happened largely against guys 2-4 years younger than you, that’s a knock.

For two top five guys, I'd think you shouldn't have to do this.
No way I'm drafting Bailey. Guy's a loser that thought he should be able to say who can and can't pick him. If there was ever a guy that perfectly fits the profile that at best puts up numbers on a bad team, that's the guy.

It's a huge cop out to blame coaching. You have two top 5 guys and you have a crap team, that's a huge red flag. Watching that team a few times, I like Harper fine. Bailey just jumped off the screen as an immature baby that was a cancer.
