Cheering against the Knicks since early 90s is my most successful sports team by light years. Among the most fun too.

The number of seasons experts peg them for a playoff run and they end up near last over decades is hilarious.

Should clarify that not all New York sports fans are the same - Mets/Islanders fans (let's not pretend the Nets actually have fans) are not the same as Yankees/Rangers/Knicks fans. There's a certain delusion of grandeur and entitlement that comes with the latter that isn't with the former. And I'd say "success" would be a defining factor in that... but how successful have the Rangers and Knicks been? The Knicks have 2 titles in the early 1970s, and the Rangers have 1 Stanley Cup since 1940 (trust me - growing up as an Islanders fan, that was a taunt directed at the Rangers).

When I moved to Chicago I almost switched from Cubs because I realized Sox fans had Cyclone dna.

That was kind of a shockingly flawed yet calm comfortable playoff road win. Almost shocked me more than wild game 1 win I’ve come to expect.
They were just better than the knicks. What was the knicks biggest lead? 5 or 6?

pacers just have too many good young players for the Knicks to defend. Brunson is a good player but he's just so ball dominant and ends up as just a real high volume guy. Maybe the Knicks can steal one but they are over matched.

Haliburtons don’t grow on trees but surrounding a pass first all star pg with a ton of good but not great talent might be a great model for a gm.
