NBA: *** 2024 NBA thread ***

Blood clots are scary. I had a friend die from a blood clot in her leg. I wonder how they caught this.
Guessing he was suffering some pain in that shoulder area and the Spurs team doctor(s) decided to have an mri done and that's how they spotted it.

What’s concerning for me is this could be part of a condition or something. From what little I know about health, blood clots are more common/dangerous in taller people.

If he were to be on blood thinners to treat this the rest of his life, I don’t think he could play basketball

Promising

FIFTY point second quarter for Pacers after horrific first quarter.

Tyrese part of it with worst of year first quarter and really nice second quarter.

He’s had a nice game per the box score

Then he injured his shoulder saving the ball and hitting a cameraman, went to locker room for a while. Came back later but still…

So sorry for your loss. My mother had a blood clot in her leg and had my brother, who was 12 at the time, drive her to ER. She was ok but because of her history, they really kept an eye on that during my pregnancies as I guess they are another danger of pregnancy

Just realized Jokic has passed MJ and LeBron for career PER, I saw it creeping close last year. Of course they have some back end years and he has only early and prime years but still incredible. As dominant as LeBron was he was never able to pass MJ in the stat but came close.

Will be interesting to see how long he plays.

Weird stat that most of the top 20 are so dominant yet Anthony Davis sits at 4th almost even with LeBron.

Warriors are 5-1 since the Jimmy Butler trade. Not saying they are championship bound but they at least look like they have a pulse again. Interesting five game road trip coming up.

Just a quick glance, but the schedule looks pretty favorable if they keep playing well, to move up.
