***2024 CFB Week 7 (Oct. 8 -Oct. 12) Games Thread***

These time zone shift games are just playing havoc in the big ten. Just about every team that has to travel multipule time zones has lost. Washington lost at Rutgers, Michigan lost at Washington, Washington loses at Iowa, USC loses at Minn and at Mich.

Penn state on the road and OSU at Oregon today could get real interesting
Especially the 11 am games and the west coast night games. OSU I think has enough talent and experience to overcome it.

There’s definitely something there with this but I will also counter that all the teams that have traveled time zones and lost were also underdogs except USC. So I’m not sure how much stock to put into yet.

The two games you mentioned might tell us something.

Iowa might be figuring some things out.

I'd guess their fans think they beat the defending national runner ups like people said for TCU last year.

Busted coverage on SC, but Alabama should't have scored there

I have Oregon winning tonight, having watched both teams Oregon has much better line play on both sides of the ball. If they can contain OSU’s WR talent I could see a double digit win with the travel involved
