2024-2025 Recruiting Thread

Any recent recruiting news? It seems like it has been a little while since we have had any buzz. Not meaning anything in a bad way, just curious if we have any upcoming recruiting visits planned or list of prospects we are targeting for 25/26?

I see Castillo (another CC!) is ranked #1 at 126 by IA Wrestle. I think he started the year at 120. Looks like he's put on quite a bit of muscle from last year. Will be interesting to see if he shoots for 25 or 33 next year.

This week, Bassett eliminated Pitt-Johnstown and Iowa State, leaving him with seven schools remaining, vying for his services. Currently, he has one more official visit scheduled for January at Rutgers.

Bassett’s remaining schools are: Virginia Tech, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Iowa and Oklahoma State.

Thanks, I missed that. I'm surprised, thinking we would outlast VT & Rutgers, but knew we were a long shot to land him. No inside info, but I'm a bit more hopeful on Jax (still an outside shot I'd say) and D Ross (hoping he wants to stay home).

Just my opinion but 65, 74 and 97 for the 26 class. Maybe heavy.

Seems like we have quite a few lighter weights.
