I legit believe the Hawkeye defense is way overrated. They play the Big 10 West crap division every year. Every time they play a team with an offensive pulse, this is what happens.

Can’t believe I am going to defend the Iowa defense.

First, they aren’t elite but they are a very good defense who I don’t think is bad at all.

They can’t do anything honestly with an offense as putrid and heinous as the Iowa offense. Think our defense has gotten worn down in the past? This is next level **** with how much they are on the field or given terrible field position due to how pathetic the offense is.

The defense forced a pair of turnovers and one was a fumble for a TD. Ohio State is only 3 for 12 on third down, which is a very good stat. Problem is Ohio State is way better athlete wise and can take chances once it became obvious the Iowa offense was never going to score. Second half has been a free for all and the damn broke (naturally) because at some point you start to falter and honestly quit a bit when you know your effort is going to lead to nothing every drive, every week.
