***2022 Week 7 CFB Games Thread***

I seem to recall an inadvertent whistle costing us a big play in the early 2000s. I feel like it was a home game against Colorado.

An inadvertent whistle gave Navy a first down on a punt Friday night. That felt like a call that would go against us.

I think the potential for LSU to actually get a natty is better.
Agree, and easier to recruit there. Local talent, grades, etc.

Hell if Les Miles & Ed Orgeron can win a title there Brian Kelly certainly can.

Oregon seems high based on how they’ve looked a lot this year. TCU might also be a couple spots too high, but they got KU and OSU so hard to complain.

Almost half the B12 is ranked.

I wouldn't have guessed that were the case in August.

Possibly more intriguing, "which Big 12 teams" than the actual #.

Side-note: Would anyone in August have predicted Tulane would in top 25, but Oklahoma not, in mid-October?

Just shows you how much bias and name impacts us all.

We b1tch about the media overrating certain teams by their name (UT, OU, ND, and many more) but the fact is we all do it too. I thought OU would be down with a new coach, but still thought they would win 9-10 games and be competing for the Big12 CCG.
