***2022 PGA Tour Thread***

Phil was the face of Golf Channel's advertising this week while occupying 156th place in the actual tournament.

If you're +7 on those courses you have trouble keeping your driver on the planet.

+7 must be the stroke score? Thought I read the celeb tourney there is Stableford.

That's about what I'd expect from a scratch golfer/pro athlete to score competitively. 6,600 yards is on the longer end of LPGA yardage, PGA would be up in the 7's. Assuming the men are longer at practically every club, I would say this tournament really points out the importance of finesse game above all else.
Yeah the celebs play Stableford I guess, but +7 was what he shot if it was stroke play.

Anyone else catch the LPGA Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament this weekend? Derek Lowe the retired baseball player beat 5 of the LPGA pros from the same tees - obviously stirred up the social media discussions a bit.

Wait, he beat 5? So he was like 127th? Lol.

Still a solid score for a pro tournament layout, surely, but it's not like random celebs are winning women's tournaments with that kind of score. If that's the gruff about it, it's severely overblown.

Why was he playing at all?

Didn’t someone, maybe in the 2021 thread, contend his swing was sustainable due to his mechanics? Ruh-Roh…

He's too busy advancing his "brand"

Hope the douche gets DFL every tournament

Rahm, Thomas, & Schenk tied for the lead at -13 after two rounds.

I have seen more 260-280 yard 3 woods to within 10-15 feet already this year than I have ever seen in my entire lifetime before.

The tech is stupid.

Reminder Final Round is TODAY.

Jason Day & Will Zalatoris tied for the lead. Rahm 1 shot back, Justin Thomas 2 shots back.
