Absolutely agreed with stopping the game but not playing it at all has far-reaching impacts. There were several common sense solutions I heard during the week that could’ve worked. I saw a tweet on Tuesday I believe that a cop was serving a restraining order to a husband going through a divorce and the husband shot and killed him about the time the game was on. That helped put things in perspective for me a little. This is where I am. Everyone refusing to talk about the playoffs or football generally almost because of this sad event. A million more horrific things happen in this world every day and the world does not stop. The 'players give their life' thing was also out of hand yesterday. Again, lots of jobs far more dangerous, and oh yeah, paying 48k per year.
Assuming the Texans are drafting a QB and the Bears don't need to, I'm guessing being 1 or 2 didn't really matter for Houston. Again assuming they plan to take a QB as their 1st pick.Texans won for w.e. reason as a bears fan not mad
Television Advertisement for Pro Football Hall of Fame has to interject at end that it is "only 45 minutes south of Cleveland!!".....as if that is a positive. ??????? I would be more likely to go if it WAS NOT in urban blight. Everyone who is going to go to that knows it is in Canton anyway.
Except, now a team that does need a quarterback can trade ahead of Houston. So if the Texans evaluate Bryce Young as the best QB, he might not be there when they pick.Assuming the Texans are drafting a QB and the Bears don't need to, I'm guessing being 1 or 2 didn't really matter for Houston. Good point. Didn't think the Bears may trade the pick.Except, now a team that does need a quarterback can trade ahead of Houston. So if the Texans evaluate Bryce Young as the best QB, he might not be there when they pick.
The Bears are in a good position to move down for a haul of picks. If they swapped with Seattle or Indy, they could still be in a position to take the best overall non-qb, and get a bunch of picks as well.
The Bears will trade the pick. The ideal scenario is to get a haul and still end up at 3 to get Will Anderson, but I doubt they'll be at 3, more likely 5-7.Good point. Didn't think the Bears may trade the pick.
Cleveland would be closes major airport in the area. Really Cleveland is not a bad town to visit, Rock and Roll HOF, fun to watch a baseball or football game if they are in town. Sandusky has one of the better Roller Coaster parks in the nation and it's only a 45 minute drive from Cleveland. Is that the nearest major airport?
They’ll screw it up big time. I bet they draft a TE with first pick.…
Bears Front Office don't screw it up.
I suppose. You could bundle a trip to NFL hall of fame and then Rock and Roll hall of fame to see the Dolly Parton and Dionne Warwick exhibits. Is that the nearest major airport?
