I could very well see that as well.I wonder if the Raiders are regretting not picking up Josh Jacobs 5th year option. Yeah, his price would have gone up in that last year, but not as much as a franchise tag would cost them. If he hits the open market, he'll get paid (or as paid as running backs get these days).
I could see a team like Chicago, with a ton of cap space, signing him as a FA.
I like how on first down, he threw a dangerous pass, that was almost intercepted, and to show that he'd learned from his mistake, on second down, he threw a dangerous pass that WAS intercepted.Matt Ryan looks completely washed up. Zero yards of offense in the 1st qtr.
The older Qbs have really fallen off a cliff this year.
The #2 overall pick chances getting better and better for the Bears:
Yeah It's pretty bad right now. I'm sure there are plenty of tryouts at Halas Hall this week. When are walk on tryouts? At this point, I think I could play WR for them.
The #2 overall pick chances getting better and better for the Bears:
That's rough. Two of their better players on a roster that doesn't have a lot of talent.
And with the 2nd pick in the 2023 draft the Chicago Bears take.....
I said it earlier in this thread, but this is the best case scenario for them. They have a ton of cap space next year, and Fields has shown them he can be their QB going forward. Trade the pick to a team that needs a QB and I'm sure they'll get quite the haul.I think they should trade that pick. Seems like a good landing spot for a team wanting to move up for a QB.
That team needs as many picks as they can acquire
Agree. That is probably what they will do but Will Anderson DE Bama or Jalen Carter DT Georgia would fill a big need for them.I think they should trade that pick. Seems like a good landing spot for a team wanting to move up for a QB.
That team needs as many picks as they can acquire
100% this. They got a ton of holes to fill so trading back and stocking up on picks makes a lot of sense.I said it earlier in this thread, but this is the best case scenario for them. Probably either another QB or a tight end from a Division 2 school who will have 13 career receptions. And with the 2nd pick in the 2023 draft the Chicago Bears take.....
