The dumber part of the Dallas fanbase is going to be all over that ref, but he didn't do anything wrong.
Why is he 20 yards behind that play when Dak goes down?

I'll be curious to know if that was a called play or of Dak audibled into it.What a stupid play call.
Can't spot the ball yourself.

He could have walked if he wanted…. at least he was sprinting. Dark should have ran the ball to him.

Totally agree. Actually a pretty good calls. They were lined up on the far sideline and I presume the near one too. He wouldn’t of made it.The call to run is aggressive but not terrible, SF was fully sagging off 7 defenders. It's the running up the middle part that gets me. Take that to the sideline.
A few years ago, NFL moved the umpire to the offensive backfield -- he starts about 10 yard behind the LOS.
Then Dak ran about 10 yards. Hence, 20ish
Weren't you just claiming the refs were trying to fix it for Dallas? Your head is a crazy place man.
But anyways that doesn't answer my question at all, nor would it have changed anything if he handed him the ball.
