Loved watching the Pats getting a beatdown. I also now expect them to sign a ton of players this off-season now. Belichick won't take this well.

pretty much, but I think the term 40-burger comes from quite a while ago, back when SportCenter was significantly more relevant to pop culture
I know Berman can't still be doing it, but tell me he's not the creepy uncle at his family's holiday dinner.

He was always that. If you haven't heard the "You're with me, Leather" story about him, you should look it up. He's exactly as creepy and full of himself as you think he is.
My gf and her brothers are bills fans and she won't let me tailgate alone with her brothers because she knows if I drink about a dozen beers I'm going off a 2nd story balcony through a table first chance I get.
Sportscenter has way too much talking and story telling for me. It's become a talk show more than anything. I want to see just an hour straight of highlights, that's it. I don't need 20 seconds of highlights followed by 5 minutes of bad, cliché riddled analysis.
Show me coaching changes, player trades, free agents signings, etc.... Don't need to hear one guys opinion on how that's going to effect the team, how they see it working out etc... They're wrong most of the time anyway.

Opinion and analysis is really all that sports channels have left that has any "value" outside of the sporting events themselves. People don't go to television to get the scores anymore. It's completely inefficient, when a website can get you the same info much quicker.
